But can your video production company do esto?

How Kestum Bilt produces simultaneously in English and Spanish.

Spanglish. It’s not just a funny word. It’s a shorthand way to describe our approach to producing simultaneously in English and Spanish, which is something we’ve been doing for years.

Our HQ is in Tampa, but we also have offices in Miami and Atlanta, which are homes to LATAM agencies (and frequent collaborators) like rbb, The Group Advertising, PM3, and Gravity. Here’s a shortlist of the content we’ve produced in English and/or Spanish.

These partnerships are a result of the work we put in to build a LATAM team of producers and directors that not only understood the subtleties of the Hispanic market but could also execute US general market content with equal ability. (Hey, if it can work for Oscar-winning director Alejandro González Iñárritu, it can work for us and Jackson Health.)

For example, when we produced the Boss Revolution campaign, not only was our director Javier Navarro Hispanic, but so too were the heads of our art, wardrobe, hair and makeup, production, and tech departments.

For Blue Emu, a #1 selling pain reliever, we recently partnered with a multi-cultural agency, The Group Advertising, to produce live and 3D animated commercials in both English and Spanish.

Can you tell the difference between the Spanish spoken in Spain and the Spanish spoken in Latin America? Our audio engineers can. That’s why we assign them to the docu-style work we do in Miami for AmTrust Financial. Their acutely trained ears can hear any inflection or grammatical missteps on the fly. Miami is a melting pot of Hispanic cultures, so it’s our job to make sure vocabularies are consistent.

You’ve probably heard that NAPA is all about know-how. So, when we produced their content for agency PM3, we applied a little know-how of our own with a team lead by Colombian director Ricardo Ceballos and Chilean director of photography Fernando Reyes.

Of course, no team would be complete without the talent in front of the camera. That’s another area where we excel. We can’t divulge all of our secrets here, but let’s just say there is a science to casting for videos that are going to be produced in English and Spanish dialects.

Two markets. One production company. And all the savings and seamlessness that come with it. Are you ready for esto?
